Polyester Labels / Overlays

Material - Polyester from Mac Dermid, Good impact strength, excellent dimensional stability (no shrinking or stretching) and clarity, good printability, High flexibility, die cut and tactile characteristics such as embossed membrane switches.
Attractive appearance, Clear window facility, Consistent low gloss, textured surface, Polyester film is tougher and more durable.
Resistance to: High temperature, Moisture, excellent solvent / enhanced chemical resistance and dramatically improved flex life, high abrasion, scratch, stains, Heat, UV and corrosive materials.
Comparison with poycarbonate:
Polyester films are significantly “tougher” than polycarbonate films and work well in more demanding applications, such as a membrane switch application or where the overlay will be subjected to harsh chemicals. Embossed polyester has more than 20 times the flex life of polycarbonate and better tactile response. This performance is due to the superior mechanical properties of polyester film.

GLOW-IN-THE-DARK LABELS

This luminous (PL pigments) material such as Strontium Aluminate (SrAl) into durable clear carriers, such as Acrylic or PVC plastics. When exposed to light, these materials absorb some of the light's energy and re-emit glows in total darkness for up to 8 hours without electricity as a yellow-green tinted glow. Can be recharged an unlimited number of times for long life and can provide visible warning and directional information during power failure or in dark.

Applications : Ideal for Exit and Fire Extinguisher Sign Applications, Visible in Daylight and Self-Illuminating in Total Darkness. Emergency labels for even the most difficult applications.
